The Case

Your group is not watching the mystery. They are inside it.

Chicago, 1928. Behind an unmarked door, the Velvet Rose is open for one more night of jazz, secrets, private deals, and dangerous company.

Then someone dies.

Murder at the Velvet Rose turns your group into the cast of a live Prohibition-era murder mystery. Every guest receives a private character role on their phone, complete with secrets, objectives, relationships, and information that changes how the investigation unfolds.

The host runs the night from the MRDRInc. Control Room, guiding the story through its phases, releasing evidence at the right moments, sending private messages, and opening accusations when the room is ready.

What the experience includes:

- A complete 1928 speakeasy murder mystery
- Support for 8 to 14 players
- Easy, Standard, and Expert difficulty
- Private mobile character files
- Character objectives, secrets, and relationships
- Phased evidence and live clue releases
- Host Director Briefing and phase-by-phase guidance
- Guest invitations and role assignment tools
- Private and group messaging
- Missing-player recovery tools
- Final accusations and reveal
- Replayable access through My Cases

The game is designed for about 105 minutes, with enough flexibility for groups that move faster or spend more time interrogating one another.

Dress for the Jazz Age, keep your phone nearby, and decide carefully who deserves your trust.
